Community Guidelines
Cibbbo is a community of home cooks sharing real food. These Community Guidelines explain what belongs on Cibbbo and what does not. They are part of the Terms of Service.
We built Cibbbo to be a kind, useful place. Most of this comes down to one idea: share food you are proud of, and treat other cooks the way you would at their table.
1. What Cibbbo Is For
Recipes, cooking photos, reviews, cookbooks, and food conversation. Keep content food-focused — the scan feature and recipe catalog are not places for unrelated content.
2. Share Authentic Content
Post recipes and photos that are yours or that you have the right to share. Credit sources when adapting someone else’s recipe.
Do not publish another creator’s write-ups or photos as your own — see the Copyright Policy.
Reviews should reflect your honest experience. Do not post fake, paid-for, or retaliatory reviews.
3. Be Respectful
Critique the dish, not the cook. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, slurs, or personal attacks.
No sexual content, graphic violence, or content that sexualizes minors (zero tolerance; reported to authorities where required).
Do not impersonate other people or brands, and do not share anyone’s private information.
4. Not Allowed
Illegal content or activity, including the sale of regulated goods.
Spam, scams, manipulated engagement, and misleading links.
Dangerous "food" content: recipes or advice that are hazardous if followed (for example, unsafe canning or preservation methods, harmful ingredient substitutions, or consumption challenges).
Malicious use of the app: uploading non-food or abusive content through scans, probing the backend, or abusing AI features.
5. Food Safety Claims
Do not present recipes as allergy-safe, medically therapeutic, or nutritionally guaranteed. Cooks with allergies rely on accurate information — label known allergens honestly and never claim a dish is free of an allergen unless you are certain.
6. Reporting, Blocking & Enforcement
You can report content or accounts in the app and block users who bother you. Blocked users cannot follow you or interact with your content.
Depending on severity and history, enforcement may include removing content, limiting visibility, or suspending or permanently banning an account. Serious violations can result in immediate permanent bans.
We may also restrict accounts while we investigate reports.
7. Appeals & Contact
If you believe we made a mistake with a moderation decision, contact contact@veril.studio from the email on your account and include what happened. We will review and respond when practicable.
We may update these Guidelines as the community grows. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
