Cookie Notice

This Cookie Notice explains how the cibbbo.com website, operated by Veril Studio, uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements the Privacy Policy. The Cibbbo mobile app does not use browser cookies.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They help websites work, remember choices, and understand usage. This notice also covers similar technologies such as pixels and local storage.

2. Your Choice

When you first visit cibbbo.com, a banner asks before we use any cookie that is not essential. Nothing optional loads until you choose.

Select "Accept" to allow all optional cookies. To reject them, close the banner with the X: closing it is the same as "Reject all", and we save that choice so optional cookies stay off. "Preferences" lets you turn Analytics, Marketing, and Personalization on or off one at a time, and also has "Reject All", "Accept All", and "Save Preferences" buttons.

You can change your mind anytime with the Preferences button that stays at the bottom of the page after you choose, or with Your Privacy Choices in the site footer. Your new choice applies from the next page you load. Turning a category off stops those tools from loading again; to remove cookies a tool already set, delete them in your browser (see section 7).

We keep your choice for 12 months, then ask again.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is currently nothing for a Global Privacy Control signal to opt you out of. Before we add any advertising tools, we will make sure the banner honors Global Privacy Control as an opt-out.

3. Essential Cookies (always on)

Hosting and security: our site is hosted on Webflow, which may set cookies needed for the site to load, stay secure, and protect forms from abuse.

Your cookie choice: our consent tool, Consent Pro (by Finsweet), runs the banner. It stores your choice in a cookie called fs-consent for 12 months. The cookie holds a random ID, your approximate region (for example, a U.S. state, worked out from your IP address so the right banner shows), the choices you made, and when you made them. Consent Pro also keeps a record of your choice on its servers, with the same details and no name or email, so we can show what was agreed.

Waitlist: the waitlist form sends what you enter straight to our backend (Supabase). It sets no cookies. If you tick the newsletter box, our email provider (Klaviyo) receives your email address from our servers; Klaviyo sets no cookies on cibbbo.com.

4. Analytics Cookies (only with your consent)

Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages people use. It loads only after you allow Analytics. It sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> (up to 2 years) and sends Google your device and browser details, pages viewed, and an approximate location from your IP address. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization for this data, and we do not use it for advertising. Google processes it under its own privacy terms.

5. Marketing and Personalization Cookies (only with your consent)

We do not show ads on cibbbo.com yet, and no tools use the Marketing or Personalization categories today. When we add ads, ad and measurement tools will load only if you allow Marketing, and we will list each provider and its cookies here before they go live.

With your consent, those tools may use cookies or similar technology to show ads, measure them, and, where you allow it, tailor ads to your activity. Under some state laws, such as California’s, that kind of tailoring can count as “sharing” personal information; you will be able to opt out anytime from Your Privacy Choices or with Global Privacy Control.

6. Shared Links

Recipe, profile, and invite links shared from the app open a simple preview page that sets no cookies and loads no analytics or advertising tools. A shared link includes an ID for the person who shared it, so the recipient can see who sent it.

7. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working, and clearing cookies also clears your banner choice, so the banner will ask again.

We update this notice when the cookies on cibbbo.com change; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
